| Announcement from Past President Sara Henderson
In an effort to get more information to our members in a
timely manner, the GPPA board has decided to produce an electronic
newsletter. It will not replace Perennial Notes in any way but will allow us
to get information about activities and opportunities to you without the
long delay required by a quarterly publication. Our goal is to make it
easier for you, our members, to become involved and to fully enjoy all that
membership in GPPA has to offer.
The newsletter will be emailed to all members who supply
us with their email and will be an attached PDF file, largely to make the
size reasonable for you to receive. You are welcome to read it as
is, to print it and to share it with your gardening friends. If you are
uncomfortable with opening attachments, it will also be posted on the web
site, www.georgiaperennial.org,
and you can access it there at your convenience. You will need Acrobat
Reader to open the file. Most people already have this program but, if you
don't, it is a free program that can be acquired at:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
We will be fine tuning this newsletter over time and would
appreciate any suggestions that you feel would make it better. We won't be
able to perfectly please everyone as there are so many different options,
but we do want it to serve the needs of as many members as possible, as well
as possible. Your comments would help us do that.
I hope you enjoy it and find it useful!
Sara
