During daylight savings time, it is common to have half a dozen members of GPPA show up with plants in their trunks for a casual parking lot plant sale before meetings. At the April 2004 meeting, photographer Lee Ann White captured members enjoying this pre-meeting event.

Bill and Pam Jolly are helped by their granddaughter. Sarah Groves and Doug Reynolds talk with Karin Guzy. Sara Henderson oversees the distribution of plants sold in a pre-order sale. A pensive grandchild stays close to Pam Jolly. Betsy Keith is happy with her purchase of a ligularia. Even little people enjoy the plant sale. Karin Guzy sells plants left over from a GPPA sale at the Atlanta History Center. Sharli Blackburn and Marlysa Raye-Jacobi discuss their finds. Can I carry any more plants? Bill Funkhouser, founder of GPPA, attended the April meeting. Belinda Funkhouser accompanied Bill to the meeting.
