2005 SPRING SYMPOSIUM

Co-sponsored by the Atlanta Botanical Garden
and Georgia Perennial Plant Association

Saturday, February 5, 2005
Day Hall ABG
8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

"The Bower of Our Sweet Content:

Gardening for the Senses"

One consequence of today’s frantic pace is its numbing effect on our ability to savor fleeting moments of beauty.  This year’s symposium, co-sponsored by the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Georgia Perennial Plant Association, celebrates the five senses and suggests ways for enriching your gardening experience.

Read about the exciting line-up of speakers.
Registration Information below. Deadline January 28th!

A Symphony of Sounds: Springs, Songbirds & Serpents

Lee Anne White is a professional photographer with a passion for plants and an avid gardener who has broken ground and more than a few shovels in Georgia’s red clay and Connecticut’s rocky loam. She is the former chief editor of Fine Gardening magazine and the author, editor and/or photographer of nearly a dozen books on landscape design. Her most recent titles include Taunton’s Backyard Idea Book, Pool Idea Book and Front Yard Idea Book. She teaches garden photography at the Maine Photographic Workshops.
