President's Message

Welcome to the Georgia Perennial Plant Association. Thank you for visiting our web page. If you love plants and gardening, you have come to the right place. On the website you will see details of our upcoming meetings and events.

GPPA was set up over thirty years ago by some like minded individuals who were interested in promoting the use of perennials in the garden.

Our bylaws state that our purpose is to "advance the interest in perennials through the use of symposia, lectures, workshops and related activities for its members and other interested persons."

Our interests have grown to include a wide range of gardening subjects. From ferns to succulents, from annuals to perennials, we plan to keep you informed about the wide and varied subject that is horticulture.

I am honored to be serving you as president of the Georgia Perennial Plant Association. I’m sorry that we can only meet virtually at the moment. I look forward to a time in the not too distant future when once again we can meet in person and discuss our common interest.

Whether you are a beginner gardener or someone who has lots of experience, I would love to hear from you. To help us plan future talks and events, I would like to know what your specific interests are. Would you like help planning your garden? Do you need to know what plants grow best in dry shade?

Feel free to email me at president@georgiaperennial.org.

Kind regards,
Patrick Ardiff
