Lisa Roper, Chanticleer Gardens - "Designing with Bulbs" January 23, 7:00 via Zoom
Lisa Roper, Horticulturist at Chanticleer Garden, in Wayne Pennsylvania will speak on "Designing with Bulbs".
Lisa's main charges at Chanticleer are the stunning Gravel Garden and Ruin Garden. Chanticleer is a 48 acre "pleasure garden" with a mission to illustrate the beauty of horticulture. It is among the most beautiful gardens to stroll through in the world, with many gardens within the garden evoking visceral emotional responses -- perhaps none more than the Gravel and Ruin gardens. "Planted to Perfection" said London's Financial Times; "America's most inspiring garden" said Garden Design magazine. Even five year old Chase chimed in:"My favorite place in the whole world." If you've been, you probably agree with all of these comments. It is a magical place. If you have a garden bucket list, this should be near the top of it.
Lisa Roper has been part of this magical place for many years. In addition to creating magic with bulbs and perennials and more, Lisa is a fabulous photographer.
