Lisa Bartlett recently retired from Smith-Gilbert Gardens in Kennesaw, where she created an award-winning butterfly exhibit and designed Georgia’s first crevice garden. She now enjoys cultivating and experimenting in her own garden. Ozzie Johnson is a renowned plant explorer whose travels across Asia introduced many plants now common in our landscapes, including loropetalum. He is currently developing a hardy line of Rex begonias that combine striking beauty with resilience. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge, creativity, and curiosity about the plant world.
