Jordana Chalnick is the Landscape Manager at Biltmore.  After earning her degree from Haywood Community College, she started at Biltmore in 2006, working in the Azalea Garden.  She became the Conservatory Horticulturist in 2013, sharpening her design skills in this intensely creative position. She has held several other supervisory positions in the Horticulture Department at Biltmore, working with woody and herbaceous plants in permanent landscape settings as well as seasonal displays of tropicals and annuals. She became Landscape Manager in October 2024 where she cherishes the opportunity to utilize both horticultural knowledge and leadership skills. “I love my job,” Jordana said, “because I get to use my creativity in designing displays as well as using all of my horticultural knowledge to keep plants happy and healthy.”
